Hifiman EF400 DAC & Headphone Amp. New in box.
Launched in 2022 an featuring Hifiman's in house designed Hylamlaya R2R DAC, matched to a powerful 4.4 watt balanced headphone amplifier.
Featuring a fully balanced internal amplifier design, built on a Class AB scheme, the EF400 has the power for Hifiman planar magnetic headphones, even the less efficient models. EF400 can make them come alive and have headroom to spare.
The R2R Hymalaya DAC emphasizes a natural tuning, avoiding smy brightness that some dacs are criticized for. Its natural tone has NOS and OS options built in, providing a slightly different tuning and emphasis on improved clarity or a more analog sound.
An especially good match with Ananda Nano, Ananda Unveiled, Arya Stealth and HE1000 Stealth.
All metal build and a sleek low profile on the desk.
