Hifiman HE600 Latest Generation Planar Magnetic Headphone in HE6 Series

Hifiman HE600 Planar Magnetic Headphones is Hifiman's 2025 reinvention of the classic HE6 headphone, with Advanced Technologies. While the HE6 was one of the best headphones available, it had a very low sensitivity and would routinely be powered by a speaker amp via an adaptor. HE600 is much more modern, easier to drive and lighter in weight.

Hifiman NEO Supernano Diaphragm Gen 2

Hifiman HE600's driver features the new for 2025 technology, NEO Supernano Diaphragm Gen 2. The diaphragm is only 60% of the thickness of the previous HE6, allowing us to better control its movement and achieve outstanding responsiveness. All else being equal, lighter is better and the Gen 2 driver technology is light and durable for incredible performance. 

HE600 Enhanced Magnet Technology

Also new for 2025, HE600 features Hifiman's Enhanced Magnet Tech. Using rare-earth-free permanent magnetic materials, optimally designed structures and materials to achieve a sensitivity and power that matches or approaches drivers with rare-earth permanent magnet. 

HE600 new Headband GEN 2

Hifiman HE600 features a new improved build, with new driver housings, arms and a new headband design - the new 'Gen 2'. The headband is 20g lighter weight than previous versions, with sleeker appearance, super soft head strap for all day comfort and built in rotation in the headband. This allows it to seamlessly slip into the perfect fit for a huge range of head sizes and shapes.

The perforated head strap also breathes and resists heating up, for better comfort especially during the summer months.

The cable connectors are a standard 3.5mm jack on each earcup. All brands of cable should fit as these are not recessed and have a flat surround. Several popular headphone brands use similar connectors, making it easy to swap cables from other headphones, or to buy a cable that you can use with multiple headphones, for better value.
