Hifiman Serenade Jr x Goldenwave DAC, Class-A headphone amplifier. Featuring Hymalaya LE R2R DAC board for excellent audio performance, with high precision and low noise and the ability to play files directly from a connected NAS drive.
To play music from a network NAS drive, connect ethernet and select the NET digital input. On the source device select Goldenwave in order to access the music files on the NAS drive.
Class A Headphone Amplifier
The headphone amplifier is based on a Class A design, supplemented by a precisely matched, fully discrete amp, giving it a similar sound signature to the mighty reference Prelude Amp, at a significantly lower cost. The tuning of the amp was designed to excel at both high frequency airiness and warm mid-low range of frequencies, capturing qualities most of us are seeking from the amplifier's influence on the sound.
The amplifier section in Serenade Jr has its power supplied by a massive built-in iron core, toroidal power transformer, for effortless operation and outstanding dynamics during listening. The transformer enables the amplifier section to operate under ideal conditions for optimum sound quality and that natural Class A tone that people enjoy.
Balanced Line and Headphone Outputs
Excellent connectivity with SE 6.35mm headphone out, XLR and 4.4mm Balanced headphone outputs. Rear panel features XLR and RCA outputs, with Optical, Coax, USB-B digital inputs and an Ethernet Network input.
Top mounted controls are easy to access, with input, output and settings buttons on the top panel, volume dial on the front. White LCD display to the right side indicates music file bitrate and input in use.
Includes Power cable, usb-b cable.
